Behind the Scenes of the Twin Butte Markets
In 2017 while sitting on the Twin Butte Community Society’s Board of Directors Kassandra Chancey spearheaded an initiative to host Community Markets at the Twin Butte Community Hall.
With a passion for bringing people together and supporting small local businesses, Kassandra worked hard to organize the first annual Community Market. The market was incredibly successful, bringing hundreds of visitors into the community hall and introducing new people to our amazing Twin Butte Community.
After the roaring success of our first market Kassandra organized and hosted a holiday fair which was once again a great crowd pleaser! Despite the treacherous winds that threatened to put a damper on the events, attendance was high and spirits were good!
With two years of successful markets under her belt Kassandra is looking forward to hosting many more in the future, continuing to grow and support our local community right here in Twin Butte, Alberta!
